Ofgem has recently published the new Feed in Tariff (FIT) rates for the 2011/2012 financial year and both generation and export tariffs will increase by 4.8%, in line with the retail price index change over 2010.

It is interesting to note the slight change to solar PV categories with the 1 to 5 MWe category removed and effectively replaced by "Solar Photovoltaic with total installed capacity greater than 100kW". Will this be the cut off point for funding that the government had previously hinted would be 50kw? It is also interesting to note that anaerobic digestion does not appear to be receiving the promised boast of support, as of yet.
