As we move into our third decade of commercial operation we have diversified our survey and assessment capability by developing an in-house Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and environmental planning project management service.

ecosulis ltd and Treework Environmental Practice today announced a partnership under which the companies will work together to provide both ecological and tree consultancy and contracting services across the whole of the UK. As leaders in their fields the companies will partner to bring together their specialist technical expertise to strengthen their offering and increase efficiency which they can pass on to customers in terms of value for money.

The Government’s drive towards zero carbon housing took a major step forward with the announcement that from the 1 May 2008 all new homes are to be rated on their green credentials as part of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that our Chairman, John George passed away recently. John will be sorely missed for his contributions to ecosulis ltd – not least for his amusing ditties during Board Meetings and Christmas parties!!

Our recent free-of-charge tour giving Continued Professional Development training has proven to be very successful. The CPD was offered to clients and their advisors in relation to the changes to the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994, which has implications to the planning, design and implementation of sites, with respect to European Protected Species e.g. great crested newt, bats and otter.

ecosulis ltd are pleased to announce that our Countryside Management workforce are now all holders of Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards. The CSCS card is now the industry standard to prove that we are competent on construction sites, undertaking related services and that our staff have health and safety awareness.

After many years of planning and restructuring ecosulis ltd became an employee owned company on the 19 January 2007. Dave Green has stepped down as Chairman after a well planned and deserved retirement
