Everyone knows that fresh air is good for you, and escaping to wide open green spaces or the coast has health benefits. A recent study by the Institute of Health Equality highlights the growing evidence that green spaces benefit our health and wellbeing.

while it is important to make people more aware of biodiversity issues it is also vital that they are given the right advice and guidance in order to ensure that their involvement has the best possible positive impact on the environment. A recent publication by Defra contributes to this debate to encourage people to habe the highest level of concern for the environment and to become actively involved.
