Our role: Ecosulis prepared an Ecological Mitigation Plan, in response to conditions attached to the granting of planning permission for the construction of the Cynon Valley Neighbourhood Hospital, at Mountain Ash, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Glamorgan. Consequently, this Mitigation Plan provided the necessary information required to discharge the condition and provides a strategy for the safe retention and management of the ecologically important features identified at the Application Site, the adjacent River Cynon and associated features.

The Ecological Mitigation Plan aims to maintain at favourable conservation status the protected species on and adjacent to the Application Site, namely otter, reptiles and bats, as well as other local flora and fauna, including birds, invertebrates and lichen heath, through the careful management of the retained and created habitats.
