The site covers an area of approximately 9.5ha comprising single storey office buildings with flat roofs, hardstanding, amenity grassland and small areas of young and semi-mature planted trees.

In April 2007, Ecosulis was commissioned by Debut Services (South West) Ltd to undertake an extended Phase 1 habitat survey with desktop study and daytime bat survey of land at Foxhill MoD Site, Bath. The daytime bat survey identified the need for a bat emergence and further bat activity survey which was commissioned in July 2007.
