Consulting role: Proposed development of an urban site situated approximately 500m from the Thames Basin Heath SPA. Detailed baseline surveys and the subsequent production of an Appropriate Assessment and Mitigation Strategy aimed at the ‘in isolation’ effects of the development and the ‘in combination’ effects of the development along with a number of other plans/projects in the area, on the Thames Basin Heaths SPA and associated species (namely Dartford Warbler, Nightjar and Woodlark).

Approval of the Strategy was given by English Nature (now Natural England) and Surrey Heath Borough Council in 2005/2006.
