Ecosulis was commissioned to provide suitably qualified and experienced ecological clerk of works to oversee vegetation clearance within a Site of Special Scientific Interest located along the verge of the M3.

Ecosulis provided staff over 24 hours and for 7 days a week for a period of 6 weeks for Phase I. Primary responsibilities include:

• Carrying our hand searches of vegetation prior to removal to search for badger and reptiles including slow worm, grass snake and adder
• Investigation of trees and other structures for bat, bird (including schedule 1 species) and dormouse potential
• Translocation of species (if required)
