  • Refuge installation
  • Tool box talk & training site operative for daily check
  • Monitoring and translocation of great crested newts and reptiles
  • Destructive searches by an ecological clerk of works
  • Vegetation clearance to reduce suitability for birds and supervising topsoil strip
  • Mowing and re-seeding the mitigation area
  • Create hibernacula and reprofiling within the mitigation area
  • Selective coppicing and removal of trees
