Ecosulis is involved in research throughout Europe. Current research applications include a programme focusing on forest biodiversity and ecosystem services for which Ecosulis is co-ordinating a 15-nation bid in the LIFE 7 round.
Ecosulis is also working jointly with NAGREF (The Greek Forest Research Institute) on a research bid for the LIFE+ round based on management of the Rhodope mountains in Greece.
In 2008 Ecosulis was awarded a contract to assess the link between two biodiversity indicators being used throughout Europe to measure progress towards the 2010 target (and beyond). This work was extremely successful and will be the subject of a scientific publication in 2010.
