Reducing legislative burden
Ecological legislation carries severe penalties for non-compliance as well as potentially significant cost and timing implications for projects. We work closely with our clients, legal advisors and statutory consultees to ensure that a clear, cost-effective, route is identified through commonly encountered legislation, including:
- Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (as amended)
- Protection of Badgers Act 1992
- Hedgerow Regulations 1997
- Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000
- Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006
- Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010
- Town and Country Planning (Trees) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2008
“You certainly helped to emphasise the importance of considering ecological implications at the early stages of the programme of works....you're obviously very au fait with eco-legislation, and this came across very much in your presentation... you're a pleasure to work with.” Environmental and Social Consultant for WorleyParsons

Delivering clients’ needs
Our project managers will build a team according to the needs of individual projects. We will always find the appropriate expert and are not obligated, as the larger consultancies often are, to use ‘in-house experts’. If we do not have the relevant knowledge in-house we will draw on our long-standing relationships with vetted and approved associate, who we will appoint and manage as part of our project team.
We are aware that the majority of our clients prefer a single point of contact - and our project managers can provide this for all environmental project requirements.
Ecosulis has successfully implemented ecological and arboricultural solutions for a wide range of clients throughout the UK. For a full list of clients click here.
