Specialist Ecological Identification Courses

ecosulis ltd IEEM and CEnv qualified staff are involved in a range of biodiversity research projects, provide training courses through IEEM and also offer a range of specialist identification courses for professional staff working in the natural environment, such as wardens, forest rangers, reserve managers and county ecologists.

  • Introduction to macro-fungi - 24th November 2008
  • Winter tree identification - 15th December 2008
  • Introduction to bryophytes (mosses and liverworts) - 12th January 2009
  • Introduction to lichens - March 2009
  • Pollution monitoring with lichens - March 2009
  • Woodland or ancient woodland identification - April 2009
  • Introduction to grasses and wild flower identification - May 2009
  • Summer tree and shrub identification - July 2009
  • National Vegetation Classification courses - May to June 2009

Course length and location:
The courses take the form of one day sessions mixing fieldwork and indoor study tailored to your needs. These can be held in ecosulis ltd conference room near Bath or at your workplace for group bookings.

Course prices and bookings:
Each course is charged at £110.00 per delegate. Group booking discounts are available.
